Terms of service
The terms below govern bookings with Syfr Coffee. They are written to be read, and they match what our pricing and FAQ pages already say.
Quotes and booking
Quotes are valid for 14 days. A booking is confirmed when the $150 deposit is paid and we confirm the date in writing. The balance is due on event day unless your confirmation says otherwise.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Cancel 7 or more days before the event and the deposit is fully refunded. Inside 7 days the deposit converts to a credit and we rebook you to a new date within 12 months, subject to availability. If Syfr must cancel for reasons within our control, everything you have paid is refunded in full.
Weather and outdoor events
The cart canopy covers sun and light rain. For weather that makes safe service impossible outdoors, we will work with you to move service indoors; where that cannot happen, the rescheduling terms above apply.
Venue requirements
The client is responsible for venue permission and access. The cart needs a level area of roughly 3 by 2 metres; a standard power outlet is helpful but not required if arranged in advance. Where a venue imposes its own fees or requirements, those are the client's responsibility, and we help coordinate them.
Service window
Your package includes the agreed service window plus our setup and pack-down time outside it. Extensions on the day are subject to the published extra-hour rate and barista availability.
Pricing and payment
Prices are as published or quoted, plus HST. There is no gratuity line and no service charge. Travel is included within Toronto, charged as a flat $75 elsewhere in the GTA, and $175 for supported cities outside the GTA within a two-hour drive.
Liability
We operate carefully and professionally. To the extent permitted by law, Syfr Coffee's total liability in connection with a booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
