How to read the number

Budgeting a coffee cart, start to finish

Start with the guest count, not the package. The espresso bar is $8.00 per guest with a $1,200 minimum that covers up to 150 guests. The espresso and matcha bar is $9.00 per guest, and the fully branded bar is $11.00. Every bar includes two baristas, up to three hours of made-to-order service, delivery, setup and pack-down. If you are still deciding what the cart looks like in a room, the mobile coffee cart page covers the service end to end.

Add-ons are flat numbers, never percentages. Matcha joins an espresso bar for $180, an extra printed brand panel is $250, and the digital coffee printer is $400. An additional service hour is $250. Pastries from La Bamboche carry a 50-piece minimum, and flavours are confirmed with you before booking.

Travel is one flat line on every quote: $0 within Toronto, $75 elsewhere in the GTA, and $175 for supported cities within a two-hour drive. There is no gratuity and no service charge. HST is the only addition. Volume discounts apply on their own: 15% off the coffee service from 500 guests, and 25% off from 1,000.

Weddings, corporate days and private parties all price from the same published table, so the estimate you build here is the estimate you hold for 14 days. Each event type has its own page, weddings, corporate events and private events, the FAQ answers the booking questions people ask first, and the contact page holds a date in about two minutes.

Straight answers

Pricing, clarified

What is the minimum booking?

The espresso bar minimum is $1,200, the espresso and matcha bar minimum is $1,350, and a fully branded bar is $1,650. Each minimum covers events of up to 150 guests, so a smaller gathering can still book without waiting for a custom price.

What is included in the per-guest price?

Every booking includes a Syfr-branded cart, two professional baristas, up to three hours of service, the espresso bar and core menu, beans, milks, cups, delivery, setup and pack-down. Matcha and custom event branding can be added in the calculator.

Do larger events receive a lower rate?

Yes. Events with 500 to 999 guests receive 15% off the coffee-service list price. Events with 1,000 or more receive 25% off. At those volumes, we also bring a second bar and four baristas.

Can pastries be added to any package?

Yes. Choose a classic, assorted, or sweet-and-savoury La Bamboche pastry selection in the calculator. Pastries have a 50-piece minimum, and final flavours, availability and allergens are confirmed before booking.

How does the deposit work?

A flat $150 deposit confirms an available date and is refundable. The remaining balance is due on event day, and your calculator quote stays valid for 14 days.

Which add-ons can I include?

Matcha joins an espresso bar for $180, an additional printed brand panel is $250, the digital coffee printer is $400, an extra service hour is $250, and an iced tea and lemonade stand starts at $500. Pastries from La Bamboche carry a 50-piece minimum.

Is there a travel fee?

Travel is $0 within Toronto, $75 elsewhere in the GTA, and $175 for supported cities outside the GTA within a two-hour drive. Enter your city in the calculator to confirm the service area before you continue.

What does the cart need from the venue?

A level spot about 3 by 2 metres. A standard outlet helps but is not required; tell us what the venue has and we plan around it.

How far ahead should we book?

Two to three weeks is comfortable. Closer dates are often possible, so send the request and we will tell you straight away.

Do you add gratuity or service charges?

No. There is no gratuity line and no service charge. The quote is the price, plus HST.
